Situated in the charming resort town of Cascais, Praia da Conceição is approximately a 45-minute train ride from central Lisbon. Sandwiched between the Cascais Marina and the town's historic center, visitors can easily combine a day at the beach with exploring Cascais' cultural sites, such as the Museum of the Sea or the Cascais Citadel. Start at Cais de Sodre Train Station in the center of Lisbon and hop on a train bound for Cascais

it's just a short ride to the sandy shores


The train leaves Cais de Sodre approximately every 20 minutes during the day. The first train is at 5.30am and the last at 1.30am. Tickets must be purchased before boarding the train. Tickets are the reusable 'Viva Viagem' card. The journey to Cascais takes approximately .40 minutes.

The Cascais trains have a stop display at each station and on each train. Some of these stations offer tourist information about the sights and activities. There is no need to change trains on the way to Cascais and there are usually no delays.
